The Exchange – where freelancers help freelancers move their businesses forward

The Exchange is a small group session for Freelancers in Belgium PRO members who want to increase their visibility, build meaningful connections, and get practical support for what they’re working on right now.

In June we will meet in person at Coffice in Mechelen! Afterwards you can join the LinkedIn workshop with Clo Willaerts (she might also make an appearance at the end of the lunch). Lunch orders (at own cost, see menu here) will be arranged a few days before the session.

You’ll get a few minutes to introduce yourself, explain what you do, and, if you want to, share where you could use help. The atmosphere is open, informal, and supportive.

This is the heart of PRO.
It is in these events where you start recognising people, building trust, and forming relationships that go beyond a single session.

If you want to get the most value out of PRO, joining regularly makes a real difference.

How it works

• Everyone briefly introduces themselves
• You can share something you’re working on or where you’d like input
• Others respond live, in the chat, or follow up afterward
• We share “this helped me this month” insights
• We close with takeaways and community updates

Examples of what you can ask for

• Feedback on your offer, website, or content
• A collaborator or partner for a project
• A skillswap (e.g. copywriting ↔ branding)
• A beta tester or early adopter
• Help promoting a launch or event
• Recommendations for tools, suppliers, or experts
• Support on a client project or “help a friend” request
• Engagement on an important post (comments, likes, shares)
