Build a content strategy that helps you win clients

Content is anything you share to inform, inspire or help your audience, and part of your social media presence; from LinkedIn posts and newsletters to articles, videos, podcasts and case studies. Used strategically, it can make your expertise visible, build trust before the first conversation and give potential clients a reason to contact you; and a way for you to stay on top of their minds when the moment comes that they need you.
At this workshop, you will learn how to find the sweet spot between what your potential clients need, the expertise you offer and the topics on which you have something useful and credible to say.
You will learn how to:
- Define who your content should reach and what you want it to achieve
- Choose the right channels and content formats for different purposes
- See examples of content that has generated enquiries and clients for real freelancers
- Turn your expertise, client questions and everyday work into relevant content ideas
- Decide what to publish, where, how often and with which calls to action
- Use AI tools to develop ideas, repurpose content and improve your workflow
- Create a realistic publishing and scheduling system you can maintain alongside client work
- Overcome common barriers such as lack of time, ideas, consistency or confidence, including imposter syndrome, perfectionism and fear of judgement or criticism
You will leave with the foundations of a content strategy designed to support your client pipeline, not simply generate more posts.
